Fiorino MUD | 2023

The organization of the third edition of this adventure prepared two different courses (100 and 400km), and it’s aiming to double the number of participants to the event. It’s a back and forth ride from Florence, crossing the Chianti “shire” (short distance), to the Maremma, resting at the PuntAla Camp & Resort for the night (long distance).

The ride in terms of km is quite impressive. These gravel’s heroes should bear it in mind to reach the Maremma and back!

The adventure in numbers: 400km starting from Florence, crossing the Impruneta hills to San Gimignano by Sienna, through the Valle del Diavolo and the Park of Montioni arriving to Punta Ala and back to Florence. The ride goes through Massa Marittima, San Galgano, Monteriggioni and Badia Passignano. It’s about 7000mt positive drop, 240 km of dirty roads, 690mt top hills: time limit 40 hours! Are you ready for this?

On Saturday, September 23rd, we will be ready to feed the most daredevils, who will just stop for a quick rest and soon after jump  into the saddle riding back heading Florence again. Those who will decide to take a longer break, may find hospitality at PuntAla, and maybe jump into the sea to ride back the day after, on Sunday September 24th.

Entries are open on the website of the Fiorino Mud 2023. If you wish to meet the heroes, chat with them about the adventure and fatigues, snoop their equipment from the bike, the bikepacking stuff to their apparel, you are welcome. Here you will also find the expo and feeding area.
