Are you visiting our resort for a sport event or for spending a day on the beach to discover our destination?
Find out how to doYou may have also read our internal rules: in some areas of the campsite, no fires or open flames are allowed. Why these bans? Because fire is a danger that can start much more easily than you think: that’s why we have equipped the campsite with all the necessary tools to prevent it. And then there are the considerations that you can have, which are just as fundamental. Do you want to know which ones? Let's read them together.
Did you know? A fire can start even from a cigarette thrown on the ground. What seem like insignificant oversights can unfortunately quickly turn into serious dangerous conditions. Therefore, please place cigarette butts always in the ashtrays provided. Also always pay attention to unplugging plugs from outlets when you leave your bungalow, mobile home, RV or caravan and don’t leave open flames, candles for example, such as mosquito repellents. Be sure to always use CEE-compliant electrical systems and equipment. Respect, of course, the ban on lighting fires or barbecues where not allowed.
Camping PuntAla is equipped with a dedicated emergency plan that maps all areas of the facility by marking points set up for evacuation. You can view it on the bulletin boards, request it at the front desk, or download it from this site: .
Fire extinguishers are located throughout Camping PuntAla: locate the one closest to your accommodation. If needed, using it is simple, just follow the directions printed on the label.
Did you know? There is a site where you can monitor the weather situation in real time to intercept fire risk, which usually occurs during particularly dry periods. Consult it if you would like to learn more about this phenomenon https://effis.jrc.ec.europa.eu/ We also point you to the Volunteer Fire Protection website https://www.vabtoscana.it/
If you spot a fire starting, notify our team immediately. Or call 1515, the free 24/7 emergency number for any type of environmental emergency. Do it now, don’t wait: early intervention is a very important factor in containing the severity of the damage.
The entire PuntAla team has been prepared and trained to deal with the eventuality of a fire. If you think a hazardous situation is occurring or you have concerns about conditions that could favour a fire, always contact our internal numbers using the intercoms in the prepared columns (Help Points). You can find them all over the campsite.
